about

Second song to come from the new Dictaphone Blues album, Mufti Day.

lyrics

Everyday my mind it runs
Round and round the block
Finding brand new things to obsess on
My doctor tells me I'm OK
Just a little whimsical
I see a spot my thoughts they cascade
He says "try to chill out and go about your day"

365
Monday through to Sunday
You got a lot going on in your brain

Everyday my mind it comes
To a far fetched conclusion
I feel the force of my imagination
My doctor's cutting pieces out
Did I leave it too long?
He seals a little bit up in a bag
And my name he writes down on the tag

In the back of my mind I'm fine
Yet nothing he says I believe
There is nothing wrong with me
My symptom is imaginary
